Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of iguard.one's VPN and secure connectivity services ("Services") and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you agree to this AUP. It applies to all users worldwide. Additional provisions applicable to users in specific countries are set out in Section 6 (Country-Specific Provisions).
Purpose
iguard.one provides VPN and encrypted connectivity services for lawful purposes, including: protecting personal data on public and untrusted networks, securing remote business connections, maintaining privacy online, and protecting against surveillance and cyber threats.
The Services are not designed, marketed, or intended for use in circumventing any applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
Prohibited Uses
Regardless of jurisdiction, you may not use the Services to:
- •engage in any illegal activity or facilitate the commission of any crime;
- •access, store, produce, or distribute child sexual abuse material or any other content depicting the exploitation of minors;
- •infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, including through unauthorised distribution of copyrighted works;

- •use the Services in violation of applicable sanctions or export control laws, or from a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions.
Fair Use of Network Resources
The Services are provided for ordinary personal and business use. We may apply reasonable technical measures to preserve service quality for all users, including limits on the number of simultaneous connections and measures addressing traffic patterns that place a disproportionate load on our infrastructure. We do not inspect the content of your traffic in order to apply these measures.
Enforcement
We do not monitor or log your browsing activity, traffic content, or DNS queries, and we therefore cannot and do not police the content of your traffic. We act on the basis of information we lawfully hold or receive: abuse reports and complaints from third parties, notices from competent authorities, account and billing data, and aggregated network signals such as connection volumes.
Where we identify a violation of this AUP, our response will be proportionate to the seriousness of the conduct and may include a warning, a temporary restriction, suspension, or termination of your account. For serious violations — including those involving child sexual abuse material, attacks on third-party infrastructure, or payment fraud — we may suspend or terminate access immediately and without prior notice.
Where a subscription is terminated for a breach of this AUP, refunds may be declined in accordance with our Refund Policy. We may report violations to competent authorities where required by law or where necessary to protect our network, our users, or the rights and safety of others.
Reports, Complaints, and Appeals
If you become aware of any use of the Services in violation of this AUP, please report it to legal@iguard.one, including sufficient detail to allow us to investigate (such as the affected IP address, the date and time, and the nature of the conduct). We review reports promptly.
Copyright owners may submit notices of alleged infringement to the same address, including identification of the work concerned and a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised.
If your account has been restricted, suspended, or terminated and you believe the decision was made in error, you may appeal by writing to legal@iguard.one within 30 days. We will review the decision, and where the decision is found to have been incorrect we will restore access.
Country-Specific Provisions
The provisions in this Section apply to users accessing the Services from the countries specified and prevail over conflicting provisions elsewhere in this AUP in respect of such users. In all other respects, the remainder of this AUP continues to apply.
